CHRIS BURBANK
Christine Burbank is the owner and sole gardener of "Jardin des Brabant," a National Garden Conservancy Open Garden since 2002. Christine has been gardening on this 3/4 acre property since 1972. She has attended workshops at Longwood Gardens and Winterthur and has herself taught gardening as part of the Meriden Connecticut Adult Continuing Education Program. In 2003, her garden was the member garden tour selection of the CT Horticultural Society. Christine has met and overcome many gardening challenges and is still learning about new plants and techniques in every gardening season.

LIS-EL CROWLEY
A passion for creative expression and love of transmutation has lead Lis-el Crowley to embrace various artforms, including pottery, metalsmithing and hot glass. From crystalline glazed porcelains to lampworked glass pendants, Lis-el's work ranges from the funky to the fabulous. In order to bring creative opportunities to others, Lis-el and her daughter, Alexis, have recently opened Art & Soul/Creation Station. This artisan & fine art gallery showcases Lis-el & Alexis' work along with other artists and artisans from Windsor and beyond.

JIM DINA
Jim Dina has spent a lifetime recreating the skills and material culture of local Native Americans. He specializes in the use of stone age tools of his own making when practicing these crafts. His most ambitious project was the building of a birchbark canoe, in which he traveled up the CT River, from his home in South Windsor to the Canadian border.

CAROLINE FINNEGAN
Caroline Finnegan is a painter, gardener, sewer and general crafty lady. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and currently studies at the Rhode Island School of Design.

CHRIS GOODING
Chris was born in the Berkshires and her fondest childhood memories are of summers on her Grandfather's dairy farm. As a young woman, she raised her kids (both the human and goat varieties) in a rural setting, milked her goats, made cheese, dyed with natural substances from her land and pretty much led the life of a 60's idealist.

For the last 15 years she has lived in a highly congested suburb, searching for ways to stay connected to her roots and to express herself artistically through nature. Her most recent adventure has been experimenting with gourds. Chris grows the gourds, then embellishes them, often using items such as feathers, seed pods and twigs found on her property. Chris is also a rug hooker, frequently using animal themes and mixed fibers in her rugs.

KAREN ROSSI
Karen Rossi began her professional fine art career in 1987 by winning several public sculpture commissions, which she created in the shop of her family's specialty welding business. Highly regarded for her original metal sculptures, she also licenses her flying characters of hobbies and professions. Karen's designs are internationally collected and dramatic 6ft - 30 ft versions have found their way into entry halls of banks, restaurants, hospitals and shopping malls.
