Creative Juices
Karen has returned to teaching classes and workshops. When she was first beginning her fine arts career, she enjoyed holding "Birthday Party Workshops" for kids and teaching t-shirt decorating and mobile-making classes. In remembering how much fun those classes were, she's decided to start offering some new workshops. These classes are available at several local handcraft centers or can be set up at your home.

Girlfriend Parties
If you are looking for that certain something to make a celebration extra special, then "Art Parties" are just the thing! These gatherings can be tailored to your needs. They make for a perfect Kids' Birthday Party, "Girlfriend Get-together" or "Moms' Night Out." Art projects could include jewelry making, garden crafts, mobile making, or "Make your own Fanciful Flight" (see below)!

Trademark Look
Karen's trademark "Fanciful Flights" have provided the inspiration for a "Make your own Flight" workshop. One of the things that has always made Karen's flying "Short Stories"/Fanciful Flights so unique is their ability to be personalized and tailored to the individual. Workshops based on the "flights" allow for the opportunity to do just that. Starting with a blank metal ornament, you will be able to let your imagination go wild. The workshop will include painting, beading, adding charms, and giving your ornament a swivel so that it will hang. At the end, you will have an original that is unique and personalized to you!

These classes also give students the perfect chance to create one-of-a-kind gifts. Personalized "flights" can be made for any celebration. Whether it's a graduation, wedding, retirement, or birthday these ornaments certainly help commemorate the moment.
