HARTFORD TRIATHLON PIN This exclusive Karen Rossi Triathlon Angel pin was over a year in the making. It represents the second project that Karen has imported from China of her painted steel characters that reflects both her originals and the Silvestri and Aviv product lines. Karen is very thankful to Beth Shluger's patience and support as she learned much through the process of bringing these goods from paper concept to Beth's doorstep. Providing detailed and accurate layout with as much reference as possible was the first step. A quality-control person checked the goods before shipping, and the pins were shipped though customs in Alaska to Karen's doorstep within a week of having left the factory. ”It is a small world,” says Karen. Beth Shluger shared her excitement about the project: “We are honored and excited to share the triathlon angel pin with the 600 women that will complete in this event. It is custom-designed with a bike helmet, running shoes, and swimming goggles to celebrate the remarkable efforts and dedication of our participants.” The pins are available for purchase through the Hartford Marathon Foundation, Inc.
