Gallery Galas
Karen's artwork is perfect for the warm months of summer. It evokes cheerful feelings with its whimsical characters and bright, colorful scenes. So, it's no surprise that June and July will provide opportunities for some fun, summer art openings.

A Bear Affair
Karen has been asked to take part in "A Bear Affair", a collaborative public art project for the Northwest region of CT. This month will mark the arrival of the bear at Karen Rossi Studios, where it will be painted and embellished with a scene of Norfolk, CT. The finished bear will be displayed in downtown Norfolk throughout the fall of 2007. For more information, visit http://www.abearaffair.net/

Norfolk Open Houses

For the Love of Animals
Workshops will be offered at the CT Humane Society this summer. One final workshop is left, which will take place on Sunday, June 24 from 1-4 PM. This particular class will celebrate "Adopt-a-Cat Month" and will give participants the opportunity to create their own "Fanciful Flights" characters.

"Fanciful Flights" Workshops
Karen will also be holding a workshop at the Brookfield Craft Center on June 30 from 10 AM - 4 PM. Participants will make their own "Fanciful Flight" by painting a blank metal body and personalizing it with charms. To sign up, click here.
