KAREN ROSSI SHOW UPDATE
For Rossi Studios, the month of May always brings its share of trade shows, markets, and fairs. It seems that this month ushers in the spring and summer seasons with events that draw people out of their homes and into settings where art is abundant and inspirational is never lacking.
NYC Shows
Karen's newest artwork made its debut at two trade shows this month, New York City's Surtex Show and National Stationery Show. Her newest watercolor collection, a series of animal illustrations, covered a wide range of the animal kingdom. Scenes included a bustling jungle, a peaceful forest, and a happy farm. In addition, Karen has been focusing much of her creative efforts on a series of alphabet images. The Christmas alphabet was the main illustration that she displayed at Surtex. Her agents, Creative Connection, Inc. had all these new images displayed in their booth.
Karen's collaboration with Pilgrim Imports continues to flourish. The most recent Rossi piece, a Noah menorah, made its debut in Pilgrim Imports' Stationery Show booth. The natural metal menorah is embellished with a wide range of animal duos, including giraffe, rabbits, cats, and more!
Bruce Museum
Karen also took part in The Bruce Museum's annual Outdoor Crafts Festival. The museum holds two festivals each year in Greenwich with the purpose of fostering an appreciation of the arts. The juried show included wood, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, metal, leather, and glass artisans.
