Rockville Bank's 150th Anniversary Ornament

Hand in Hand
Karen Rossi and Rockville Bank have a long history together. Besides the fact that Rockville Bank is the banking institution that Karen has used for years upon years, the two also have an interesting business relationship as well. Several years ago, Karen appeared in one of their television commercials proudly stating, “Rockville Bank…That’s my bank!” Most recently, the whimsical artist and the CT-based bank teamed up on a large-scale project to commemorate the bank’s 150 th anniversary.

Creativity at Work
During the year leading up to their 150 th anniversary, Rockville Bank planned three special ways to celebrate this amazing milestone. They are offering collector’s items that will be on sale for a limited time at Rockville Bank branches, starting on November 15. Karen’s bank-themed ornament is one of these three special promotions. It features a one of Karen’s trademark flying characters, complete with banking charms such as a money bag, a check, and even a photo of the original Rockville Bank building. The flight is on sale for a special price of $24.95 (original retail cost is $40)! In addition to Karen’s ornament, a cookbook and a commemorative coin will also be offered as part of the anniversary celebration. The proceeds from the sale of these items (minus expenses) will benefit food shelves in local communities.

Signing Events
Throughout December, Karen Rossi will make several special, personal appearances to sign the exclusive anniversary Rockville Bank ornament.
