Fall Fun Ahead!
Lots of Rossi events in store for the coming months!

A Fabulous Fall
This fall has been a busy time for Rossi Studios. Along with the entrance of the brisk, Autumn weather has also come the arrival of many exciting Rossi events. Amongst the latest have been participation in Old Wethersfield's "Scarecrows Along Main Street" and a second Channel 3 Kids Camp event.

Good Old-Fashioned Fun
During October, Karen's recent presence in Old Wethersfield expanded beyond the popular shops, "Heart of the Country" and "Mainly Tea." She had the opportunity to partake in one of the town's most popular fall events, Scarecrows Along Main Street. Karen created a Rossi-esque shopper complete with a feather boa, animal print clothing and lots of oversized "charms" such as credit cards and purses. The scarecrow was a life-size replica of one of her popular, whimsical characters. Placed right in front of Heart of the Country, Karen's creation joined the dozens of other creative scarecrows that lined Main Street throughout the month of October.

Haunted Garden Party
Karen has also been privileged to continue her alliance with the Channel 3 Kids Camp. A Haunted Garden Party, a second event to benefit the camp, was held on October 21st at Terra Gardens in Vernon, CT. The afternoon included sales of Rossi items, including the print she created for the Channel 3 Kids Camp, signings by Karen, raffles, face painting, balloon animals, and more. Owners, Kim and Jim Chipello, were on hand to participate in the fun as well.

Just the Beginning
These two events just marked the start of all the fun that is in store. Karen still has several events ahead at her Norfolk studio, including the opening of her new Fine Art Gallery and a holiday sale at the beginning of December which will feature ornament-making. Sales of the Kids Camp print, angel pin, and scarves will benefit the Channel 3 Kids Camp art building fund.

Also, the Channel 3 Kids Camp will be holding their 3rd annual "Joy For the Kids Concert with Scot Haney and Friends" on December 11th at the Hartford Stage from 7:30-9pm. Karen Rossi will be at the show, selling her Channel 3 Kids Camp print to benefit the camp. Already a sell-out, the show will be airing on TV as well.
