3 Kids Camp: Where Kids and Art Meet The
Perfect Mix When it comes to having fun, there's probably no better
ingredient than kids. And, once you add a little artwork into the mix, it only
gets better. So, it's no surprise that artist Karen Rossi and the Channel 3 Kids
Camp have partnered with such success over the past few months. They've been gearing
up for the "After-Hours Soiree and Premier Party," a fundraiser which
will take place later this month. In preparation, an illustration of the Kids
Camp was created, dozens of copies of the art piece have been printed, and Karen
joined the children earlier in the summer for a fun-filled day of rock painting
at the camp. Support
the Kids - PARTY! On
September 28th from 5-8 PM, Karen and Channel 3's very own Scot Haney will join
forces at the fundraising party, which will benefit the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Comstock,
Ferre & Co. at 263 Main Street in Old Wethersfield will be home to the fun-filled
event, where guests will enjoy appetizers donated by local restaurants, a Van
Gogh martini tasting, soft drinks and desserts. Scot and Karen will debut this
colorful whimsical print and gifts will be raffled. The print will be available
for purchase and a live signing by Karen Rossi and Scot Haney will take place.
Tickets are available
for $15 and can be purchased at www.channel3kidscamp.org
