BLOCK ISLAND GETAWAY

Honeymooners
After their unique, riverside wedding, Karen and Greg headed to Block Island for a two-week honeymoon. Joined by their faithful pups, Taco and Pucci, the newlyweds enjoyed down-time in a rented cottage, walks along the beach, and visits to local shops and galleries. In addition, several friends and family members made the trek to the island to celebrate with Karen and Greg during their vacation.

Drifting On By
While visiting the island, Karen and Greg stumbled upon many interesting finds. One of their favorites was a roadside stand of driftwood birdhouses. Two young boys, who had spent part of their summer vacation on Block Island, took up collecting the unique driftwood pieces along the beach. This hobby turned into a small business when they started transforming the driftwood into rustic birdhouses. Karen and Greg purchased two of these birdhouses, which they plan to hang proudly in the gardens around their Meriden home.

Let's Celebrate
Now that Karen and Greg have returned home, they are settling into married life and planning a reception for family and close friends. The party, which is scheduled for later this Fall, will be an opportunity for them to share this exciting stage of life with the people that are most important to them.
