Rossi
Friends:
Tim
the Welder Tim the Welder has a unique take on resolutions: he doesn't usually make them. However, this year he's making an exception. He has vowed that, for the sake of his business, he will not be "such a nice guy." Sticking to his rates and not doing jobs for free is a resolution that he says he has to keep, unless he wants to sell everything he has and get another job. On the personal side, he jumping back into the dating scene and resolving to find a woman that he can have a real relationship with.
Taco Although Taco himself doesn't really have too much to say on the subject of the new year or resolutions of any sort, we think he'd probably agree that 2006 will provide the perfect opportunity for spending more playtime with Karen, sleeping late whenever possible, and continuing to look stunning in his little doggie sweaters.
Greg
Pasborg When it comes to New Year's resolutions, Greg is certainly not in short supply. He has a long list of the goals that he hopes to achieve. Many of them are based around bettering his health. Avoiding chocolate and junk food, staying in shape, and keeping regular doctor's appointments are among the ways that he is hoping to make 2006 a year of good health. Greg also wants to make additional time for his family, so that he's seeing them more often than just around the holidays.

New Year's resolutions are those sneaky little things that have a distinct way of trapping us each and every year. It never fails that with the arrival of January 1st, we find ourselves vowing up a storm promising to change this or make time for that. We had a hunch that we weren't the only ones in such a spot, so we set out to see what some of our Rossi Studios' friends have had on their minds as 2006 has stepped onto the scene.
John
Bolduc Our faithful computer hero, John, has big plans for the new year. He is setting out to make 2006 a year full of thoughtfulness to others. When asked how long he thought he'd be able to stick with this he said, at least "until the next person cuts me off on the highway." In the past, John has had good luck with keeping most of his resolutions, which have ranged from drinking in moderation to traveling cross-country.
Gail
Yellen Gail likes finding the loopholes to New Year's resolutions. She says that, "Every year, along with a zillion other people, I vow to eat better and exercise regularly, but not until after my birthday (Jan. 4th). It's nice to enjoy birthday cake without guilt!" Typically she isn't a fan of resolutions, because it's just too much pressure.
Lynda
Jones Lynda is no stranger to challenging New Years resolutions. She takes her goals very seriously and makes a point to work hard at achieving them. This year she's aiming to break out of her comfort zone. We have no doubt that she'll be able to do it, seeing as she kept her toughest resolution when she overcame her fear of heights a few years back. By driving the flyover ramps in Hartford whenever she got the chance, she started to break down that fear. And, eventually, Lynda found herself able to walk up the full-length window on the twentieth floor of a Chicago hotel and look down without any nervousness at all. Seems that New Year's resolutions actually can work!
Karen
Rossi Karen's desire to simplify is reaching its peak with the onset of the new year. Her ultimate resolution is to get everything under one roof. Working amongst various studios and gallery spaces is beginning to take its toll. Her big dream right now is to be able to take a piece from start to finish in a single location. So, as 2006 charges onto the scene, so does an exciting quest for a creative sanctuary where whimsy and fun can flourish.
