Poochie: The New Dog in Town

After falling in love with her Chihuahua, Taco, Karen knew that she'd gladly adopt a second little dog. She just never expected it to happen a week before leaving for the Surtex Show, her major trade show of the year. Sometimes, however, fate has a way of simply falling into your lap. Such was the case with Poochie.

Two Chihuahuas are Better than One
Earlier this year Karen created an illustration for the CT Humane Society. The piece was used on their 125th Anniversary posters, which Karen has been signing and the Humane Society has been selling to raise funds for their organization. When she dropped off the latest batch of signed posters about a month ago, she was welcomed by one of the nurses saying, "How'd you like a sister for Taco?" Karen couldn't resist at least seeing the little Chihuahua. When she saw how well the two dogs interacted, she figured it was a match made in doggie heaven. So, Poochie has joined the Rossi Studios crew, adding the spunk and energy of a young, 2-year old. She has proven to be a top-notch watchdog and a sweet little friend for Taco as well.
