Bookkeeper
-Part
time hours available (at least 20hours/week)

range of responsiblitlies that include but not limited to light bookkeeping, administrative

Internships/Apprenticeships
Rossi Studios is accepting resumes and references for interns and apprentices
to work directly with the Karen Rossi design studio, located in Connecticut. Internships
are considered paid PT/FT positions to assist with commercial, community, and
goal oriented projects. We are seeking to increase our network circle of like-minded
people for short-term goals and possible permanent placement and freelance opportunities.
The schedule is flexible and hourly pay is commensurate on job experience and
availability. Candidates should be able to work independently as well as with
other team employees.

Students who are applying for an internship for credit must submit the appropriate

Assistant
Karen
Rossi Studios, LLC, is seeking a top notch personal assistant to help with all
facets of running the business, including scheduling of shows and events, making
travel arrangements, handling communications such as correspondence, preparing
presentations, communication with international clients, licensing agents, product
developers, etc. This is a very fast paced environment requiring an expert at
multi tasking, superb computer skills, enthusiasm and flexibility.
Duties include
but are not limited to:
· support with
general office work such as filing, photocopying, data entry, maintaining mailing
lists
· reading and
responding to email generated by the Karen Rossi web site

review of technical documents such as legal documents and contracts, travel, copyright,
proposals
· assist

Professional
Background of the Successful Candidate:

He or she must have at least a Bachelors degree (GPA 3.5 or higher) and some professional

familiar with Microsoft Outlook Express, Word, Excel. Knowledge of graphics programs
helpful but not required.

Knowledge of digital imaging programs and HTML is a plus, but not required

Compensation:

Studio
Assistant/Illustrator/Render
Rossi Studios is looking for an intern who will work primarily in support of the
Karen Rossi design team, and will assist with a variety of projects including
painting, illustrating and/or rendering.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Direct/assist with work in
design studio.
-Maintain studio work area in an organized manor.
-Manage
large library of clipart images.
-Research, sketch, model and/or paint designs.
-Basic knowledge of Photoshop, scanning, digital cameras are helpful but not required.

Copywriter/Creative
Writer
Rossi Studios is looking for an intern who is committed
to, and enjoys writing. The intern will work primarily in support of the Karen
Rossi design team, and will assist with a variety of writing projects including
web site maintenance, public relations, research, and production.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Reading and responding to
email generated by the Karen Rossi web site.
-Assist with writing short stories
and poems based on Karen's characters.
-Assist with marketing and promotional
materials (Studio newsletters, portfolios and press releases).
-Researching
new ideas for products and stories.

as filing, photocopying, data entry, maintaining mailing lists.
Graphic
Designer
Rossi Studios is looking for an intern who is committed
to, and enjoys graphic design. The intern will work primarily in support of the
Karen Rossi design team, and will assist with a variety of graphics projects including
page layout, digital imaging, and production.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Scanning original artwork
-Support
with the managing of a large library of digital images.
-Use of a digital
camera.
-Support with digitally editing images using Photoshop.
-Knowledge
of how to send images via email.
-Assist with page layout.
-Firm grasp
of all or most of the following programs required, QuarkXpress, PageMaker, Adobe
Acrobat, -Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and/or web design helpful.

Rossi Studios is looking for interns in the field of media and publication in
the following areas:
-PR management

Public relations
intern will assist in PR function for Rossi Studios to various publics, including
Licensees, organizations, print and online publications, industry websites, industry
events, and target audiences.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Research and develop contact lists.
-Suggest, write and distribute press releases, news briefs, newsletters.
-Create
awareness and credibility by promoting Rossi Studio and its products.
-Publicize
website through online sources.
-Place stories in the media.
-Develop
creative promotional and PR opportunities.
-Track media coverage.
-Create
PR strategy for new product launches.
-Research advertising options appropriate
for different target markets.

media press design intern should be energetic, organized and possess good writing

Services/Financial Controller
Rossi Studios is looking for an intern
who is pursuing a financially-oriented four-year degree. Candidate will be in
the process of earning a four year degree in the field of finance, with solid
analytical and computer skills. Knowledge of Excel is important and QuickBooks
is also helpful. An ability to give attention to details while maintaining a broad
perspective will enable this candidate to provide valuable support to a fast-paced
company while gaining a unique business experience.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting
process for this organization.
-Assist in creating reports and analysis utilizing
end user computing skills.
-Focus on sales trends, revenue reporting, vendor
cost management, general business reporting and other projects as assigned.
-Work closely with account payables and receivables.
Curatorial
Assistant
Rossi Studios is looking for an intern who is interested
in working with an extensive clip art library. The position will be illustrative
of the art design field as a career. Interns will gain hands-on experience with
the everyday workings of an art licensing business.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Computerization of collection records.
-Filling out copyright forms.
-Assisting in the storage of clipart in electronic
and original forms.
-Researching new topics to add to the collection.
Video
Assistant
Rossi Studios is looking for an intern who is interested
in creating promotional and documentary videos. The position is for interns who
are looking to gain hands-on experience with the everyday workings of using a
digital video camera and documenting the life of an artist/designer. This is a
great opportunity for students interested in a career in production or communication.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
-Assist with storyboarding.
-Serve
as a production assistant for documentary film.

digital video cameras and computer components.
