Rossi began creating her unique metal "short stories" in 1987 in her
Connecticut studio. Born in New England, Karen believes her fascination with "Yankee"
yarns, New England weathervanes and signage along with the fact that her parents
had a specialty welding shop has inspired her to create whimsical works in metal.
