Karen Rossi takes on three new puzzle licenses

Meriden, CT June 5, 2008— In the world of arts licensing, every day is a surprise.  You never know which company will call or show interest on any given day.  So, it should come as no surprise that artist, Karen Rossi, has connected with three puzzles companies in just six months’ time.  Each company has its own, very unique twist on the puzzle market, making this latest licensing venture a truly amazing one.

Andrews + Blaine was the first company to pursue a puzzle license with Karen.  Their concept was to work with one of Karen’s larger collections of artwork to create a 12-puzzle series for distribution throughout the year.  Using her “Angels Everyday” images, Andrews + Blaine produced a “puzzle-a-month” program that will be available in Barnes and Noble stores across the country.

Second in the puzzle license line is Ravensburger, a company that creates unique puzzle designs such as the 3-dimensional “Puzzleball®”  They have chosen to use one of Karen’s alphabet designs in a 60-piece format puzzle. This exciting new line will hit the market in January 2009.

The third company is Stave, a maker of high-end, custom wooden jigsaw puzzles.  Their products are meticulously hand-cut by a skilled crafter using very fine, delicate blades. Stave has chosen to add Karen’s Hartford and Baltimore illustrations to their collection of amazing puzzles.
